Go! And Never Forget The Power Of God's Word To Sustain You

There are moments in life when everything around us seems uncertain. The storms rage, the ground shakes, and our hearts may tremble. But in the midst of all that chaos, one truth remains unshakable - the living Word of God is our lifeline, our anchor, and our hope.

Psalm 119:93 is a beautiful declaration: "I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life." The psalmist isn't speaking from a place of empty ritual or religious obligation. This is the heartfelt cry of someone who has experienced the transforming, sustaining power of God's Word in real life.

You see, the Word of God is not merely a collection of ancient texts - it is living, active, and life-giving. Every command, every promise, every truth within its pages is infused with divine power. When the psalmist says, "You give me life," he's pointing to the spiritual vitality and strength that flows directly from obedience and trust in God's commands.

Think about the times when your strength was failing. When the path ahead was dark, when grief or worry consumed your thoughts - how precious were the Scriptures in those moments? A verse remembered. A promise whispered in prayer. A truth that pierced through despair. These are not coincidences. These are encounters with the living God, through His living Word.

As believers, we are called not just to read the Word, but to treasure it. To hold it close. To meditate on it day and night. Because in doing so, we discover something wonderful: God's commandments are not burdens; they are blessings. They guide us, protect us, shape us, and best of all - they breathe life into weary souls.

Let's be honest: in today's world, it's easy to forget. We forget appointments, birthdays, even where we left our keys! But some things must never be forgotten - and God's Word is at the top of that list. The more we read it, memorise it, speak it, and live it, the more it becomes a part of who we are.

So today, make Psalm 119:93 your own declaration. Let it be more than words on a page. Let it be your commitment, your reminder, your joy: "I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life."

May we live each day with His Word hidden in our hearts and alive in our lives.
