Can we pray for you?

If you have a prayer request we would be happy to pray for you. Just send a brief outline. If the person concerned lives in or around Ashingdon, Rayleigh or Southend a member of our Church would be happy to visit if you request it. You would need to provide us with their name and address, but this will be kept confidential and not released to any other group or person. Your request will be prayed for and we would be delighted to know of answers to prayer.

Following government guidelines on COVID-19, our buildings are closed and our regular activities and meetings are suspended, but our church is still open online. We are thankful that church continues and that we can still connect with each other from the safety of our own homes.

Connect with us on Sunday 10:30am‑11:30am for our livestream Sunday Morning Service.

If you connect via Zoom you can choose to participate via Audio/Video in breakout sessions. If you connect via Facebook you will see a livestream of the service but will not be able to participate in breakout sessions.

As a result of Government and Public Health advice regarding the COVID-19 crisis on Monday 16 March 2020 The National Leadership Team of Elim took the decision to suspend all Elim Church services and gatherings from Sunday 22nd March 2020 until further notice. We do not take this decision lightly but do so believing we have a public duty to act responsibly in terms of the duty of care to all members of the community.

The Estuary Elim Ministry Team will continue to provide pastoral support and spiritual input in the following ways:

  1. Regular telephone/text/email contact made with every church family by a church leader.
  2. A live online interactive video church service held every Sunday morning at 10-30am.
(A recording of this service will be available on YouTube)
  3. A video or audio thought for the day will be released every Tuesday and Thursday.

I recognise these are challenging times and the actions taken are having a major impact upon all our lives but we must continue to trust God and to recognise that He is Lord in this season and that it can present us with the opportunity to bring a message of hope to the communities that we serve. If you have any queries do get in touch with a member of the ministry team. Please let us know if you or others are poorly, in particular, if they are needing help or prayer.
