Love that Saves, Grace that Resurrects

John 3:16-17 (NLT) declares: "For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him."

What a powerful truth! These words are not a mere slogan for posters or wristbands-they are the very heartbeat of the gospel.

God's love is not abstract. It is not a sentimental emotion or a passive feeling. God’s love is active. It gives. It sacrifices. It saves. He didn’t send a committee, an angel, or a religious code - He sent His one and only Son. Jesus stepped into our broken world to bridge the gap between sinful humanity and a holy God.

We often think God is looking for reasons to condemn us. But the truth of the gospel is far greater: Jesus came not to judge, but to save. Salvation is not about us working our way to God. It is about God coming down to rescue us, just as we are.

That’s why Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (NLT): "I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said."

The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus are not just theological facts-they are the foundation of our faith. Christ died for our sins. He took the punishment we deserved. He was buried, confirming the reality of His death. And on the third day, He rose again, defeating sin, death, and the grave.

This is not a myth. This is not a metaphor. This is the message that changes lives.

Friend, you are not an accident. You are not unloved. You are not beyond hope. The cross and the empty tomb prove that. God's love sent Jesus. God's justice was satisfied at Calvary. And God's power was revealed at the resurrection.

If you’ve never truly trusted in Jesus, do it now. He died for you. He rose for you. And He invites you to believe, receive, and live-forgiven, free, and forever His.
