As we step into 2026, my prayer for you is simple but life-changing: walk closely with Jesus.
Christianity is not a label we wear or a service we attend. It is a daily walk with a living Saviour. Jesus didn't say, "Admire Me from a distance." He said, "Follow Me." That means learning His ways, listening for His voice, and shaping our lives around His truth.
The world will pull you in a thousand directions this coming year. But disciples choose devotion over distraction. We slow our steps to match His. We open the Word, not out of duty, but out of hunger. We pray, not as a ritual, but as a relationship. We obey, not to earn love, but because we are loved.
Jesus is not looking for perfect people in 2026. He is looking for faithful followers - men and women who will walk with Him when it's costly, when it's quiet, and when no one else is watching.
So let this be your decision: fix your eyes on Jesus. Walk with Him. Learn from Him. Trust Him. Because those who walk closely with Christ never walk alone - and they never walk without purpose.
"Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" (2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT)
Let’s follow Jesus - together - into all He has prepared for us in 2026.
